Released in 2010 this is the trio's 5th studio album and the first one I have purchased. I have to admit I have always been a hater until I heard Don't Waana See Your Face on the radio. I had to get the album and pretty much love the whole thing.
The album debuted at number one on the Australian Charts as did their prior 2 albums.
The John Butler Trio are an eclectic roots and jam band from Australia led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler. They formed in Fremantle in 1998 with Jason McGann on drums and Gavin Shoesmith on bass guitar. By 2009, the trio was Butler with Nicky Bomba on drums and percussion, and Byron Luiters on bass guitar.
