Released in 1989 this was Tom Petty’s first solo album. It has some great tracks on it – Free Fallin’, I Won’t Back Down, Yer So Bad, The Apartment Song and Zombie Zoo.
I bought this album because I loved the scene in Jerry Maguire where Tom Cruise is trying to find a song to sing along to on the radio and he eventually clicks over to “Free Fallin”.
I honestly have not listened to it in ages and listening to it again this morning really enjoyed it. It is such an easy album to listen to the whole way through.
